PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EL display device with which stable display may be obtained by reducing the contact resistance of contact parts of cathodes of organic EL elements and signal input terminals. SOLUTION: The structure laminated with the signal input terminals 100 consisting of Al, high melting metals 70, ITOs 61a and cathodes 67 in this order on an insulative substrate 10 is adopted for the contact of the cathodes of the organic EL elements and signal input terminal of the organic EL display device formed with the TFTs 40 and organic EL elements 60 on the insulative substrate 10 consisting of a glass substrate, by which the contact resistance of the contact parts between the cathodes of the organic EL elements and the signal input terminal is reduced.
