PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a fuel cell device compact size and to operate it in good condition by moisturizing the electrolyte efficiently. SOLUTION: The fuel cell device 1 comprises a fuel cell having a unit cell UC composed of electrolyte held by an anode A and cathode C in between, a blower as a means of a cathode reaction gas supplying means for supplying air increased in temperature to the cathode C of the fuel cell FC, a moisturizing shell 70 provided on a air supplying line L6 connecting the blower B and the fuel cell FC, a nozzle N injecting the moisturizing water inside the moisturizing shell 70, and a water supplying portion 20 which supplies water to the nozzle N. The moisturizing water injected inside the moisturizing shell 70 is vaporized by directly heat exchanging with air as cathode reaction gas. By this system, the fuel cell FC can be operated in good condition by moisturizing the electrolyte membrane EM efficiently. |
