FINE GRAIN PCI SLOT CONTROLLER FOR PARTITIONED SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for partitioning and assigning an individual PCI slot inside a primary host bridge(PHB) in a partitioned computer system. SOLUTION: This system includes an epoch-making PHB system for reducing the competition of system devices among plural operating systems to compete for the same resource by assigning the PCI slot to only one block within a given time.
