PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the bus efficiency between an image processor and a memory controller and to accelerate the data transfer speed in an image processing controller for electronic printer. SOLUTION: Concerning this image processing controller for electronic printer, a memory 3 for storing print data and image data expanded from the print data at least, a CPU for performing prescribed processing and an image processor IMC for applying prescribed image processing to image data stored in the memory, generating image reproducing data and supplying them to a printing engine are connected through respectively independent buses to a memory controller MC and the image processor preferentially has the use of the bus between the image processor and the memory controller. Thus, since the image processor preferentially has the use of the bus, the efficiency of access from the image processor to the memory can be improved.
