PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To introduce an IN service without the need for revamping a specific software program for an existing exchange. SOLUTION: An outgoing trunk(OGT) 11-1 and an incoming call trunk(ICT) 12-l respectively corresponding to a virtual incoming trunk(VICT) 32 and a virtual outgoing trunk(VOGT) 31 of a virtual SSP exchange(VSSP) 30 of an exchange 10 are in loopback connection. Upon the receipt of dial information denoting a specific number from an outgoing subscriber 20, the exchange applies transmission connection processing to the OGT leading to the VSSP, the VSSP regards the dial information as a relay call from the VICT to obtain a final incoming cal subscriber number corresponding to the specific number from a service control point(SCP) 40 and conducts transmission connection processing to the VOGT to inform the exchange about it. The exchange connects the corresponding ICT to a called subscriber to form a speech path between the caller subscriber and the called subscriber via the OGT of loopback connection.
