BLAST MASK INK AND RIB FORMATON METHOD FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL THEREWITH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a rib of a desired form when making the rib for a plasma display panel in a sand blast method using a permeation type blast mask. SOLUTION: After patterning on a rib material layer 12 formed on a substratell, a blast mask ink that permeates into the rib material layer 12 and its blast rate of permeated portion 13 is designed to be around 0-0.8 times the rib material layer is applied. By permeating into the lower layer of rib material layer 12, a permeated portion is scraped gradually, but is maintained to have the said blast rate. When making the rib for the plasma display panel through the sand blast process, the permeation type blast mask can be formed. The permeated portion is scraped off to some extent for making a differentiated step.
