PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparator whose delay time is shortened, without having to increase the consumption current of the comparator. SOLUTION: A differential circuit 3 respectively converts two inputs into currents I1 and I2, and the currents I1 and I2 are returned by 1st and 2nd current mirror circuits 10 and 12 having a low input impedance and a proper frequency characteristic and further returned by 3rd and 4th current mirror circuits 15 and 18. The currents I1 and I2 converted by the circuit 3 are compared at the connections between the 2nd output terminal 20 of the 1st circuit 10, between the output terminal 21 of the 4th circuit 18, and between the 2nd output terminal 22 of the 2nd circuit 12 and the output terminal 23 of the 3rd circuit 15, and the comparison results are outputted to the 1st and 2nd output terminals 24 and 25 of the comparator at a voltage level.
