PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collate an inquired face image photographed by a video camera, etc., with face image data made into a database. SOLUTION: Collation is performed by defining the data to be made into a database as three-dimensional data and color image data on the face surface, generating a color image according to photographic conditions (attitude, 7 direction of illumination) of the face of each person in the data base by providing the photographic conditions of the inquired face image and comparing the color image with the inquired image. |
