<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system that can display updated menu contents according to the present location when the navigation system is required to display the menu. SOLUTION: The on-board navigation system has a radio transmitter 25 that connects to Internet 4 via a radio station 6 and can acquires menu data through communicating with a center site server 5. The site server 5 retrieves the menu data for regional event information that is relevant to the present location and can send the selected menu to the navigation system when the present location data is sent back to the server 5. The navigation system offers the high usability to users since they can refer the displayed menu that is relevant to the regions.</p> |
