SOLUTION: In this on-vehicle camera device loaded on a vehicle for picking up the images of the inside or outside of the vehicle, an image pickup lens 1 and an image pickup element 3 for converting the images obtained through the image pickup lens 1 to electric signals are provided and the read area 3a of the image pickup element 3 and the image pickup lens 1 are arranged in position relation for generating a blast effect.
