PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional control circuit cannot be used under the condition limiting plural input signals in such a case as the mode is changed during display operation because the control circuit has corresponded to either of the mode with or without a clock. SOLUTION: A synchronous input signal 21, a display data input signal 9, a data enable input signal 7 for setting an effective data period 10 of the display data input signal 9, and a clock input signal 8 are inputted, and a control circuit 4 outputs a control signal by these inputted signals to control the picture display of a display part 1, but a discrimination part discriminates the presence or absence of the clock input signal 8 in a sync period of the synchronous input signal 21 not corresponding to the effective data period 10, and outputs a control signal in the mode in accordance with the result of the discrimination.
