PIEZOELECTRIC SPEAKER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric speaker capable of flattening frequency characteristics and reducing distortion and a method for manufacturing the piezoelectric speaker for easily forming the damper material of a uniform film thickness. SOLUTION: In this piezoelectric speaker provided with piezoelectric bodies 12 and 13 and a metal diaphragm 11 attached to a frame body and provided with a diaphragm part 31 for constituting a piezoelectric vibrator together with the piezoelectric bodies 12 and 13 and an elastic supporting part 33 for elastically supporting it for which the damper material 40 is loaded between the diaphragm part 31 of the metal diaphragm 11 and the frame body, the damper material 40 is formed of a part of polymer films 41 and 42 stuck to the metal diaphragm 11.
