PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the impedance characteristic of an electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: This capacitor element is formed, by winding two sheets of anode foil and two sheets of cathode foil which are respectively connected with band-like electrode tabs 4a, 4b, 5a, and 5b, via a separator. In this case, a pair of anode tab 4a and cathode tab 5a are arranged overlapping via a separator, and overlapped two sets of electrode tabs (4a-5a) and (4b-5b) are led from one winding end face of the capacitor element, and the led-out electrode tabs are connected with electrode terminals 6 and 6 having respective polarities of a sealing plate 3. By making the anode and cathode tabs located close to each other, mutual electromagnetic induction is offset, thereby improving the impedance characteristic of the electrolytic capacitor.
