PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a burglary prevention device capable of suppressing the current consumption of a microcomputer and preventing the shortening of battery life even when the device is arranged near an inverter fluorescent lamp or the like generating noise by detecting the reception of an alarm drive signal and generating an alarm. SOLUTION: The burglary prevention device connected to a target for burglary prevention and capable of detecting the reception of an alarm drive signal transmitted to a prescribed area and generating an alarm is provided with a receiving circuit, a control circuit and an alarm generator. The control circuit including a microcomputer for deciding the alarm drive signal invalidates the receiving operation of the receiving circuit for a prescribed period when a signal inputted from the receiving circuit is not an alarm drive signal and stops the deciding operation of the microcomputer.
