<p>The present invention concerns an apparatus for clearing land mines, preferably such that are buried some distance below the ground level. The apparatus comprises a clearing device (1) intended to be conveyed over and in contact with the ground surface, said clearing device comprising a clearing tool (3; 23) made to contact the ground surface and a vibrator (2) designed to make the clearing tool vibrate to detonate any mines discovered. It is characterized by the clearing tool being disposable and made from such a material that the tool will be disintegrated by detonation of a discovered mine. The invention also concerns a method for clearing mines.</p> |
