<p>A method for producing a flue gas treating agent which comprises the steps of providing 100 parts by weight of a mixture comprising 50 to 99.9 w parts by weight of lime and 0.01 to 50 parts by weight of silicon dioxide, and adding water in a stoichiometric amount for converting the lime to a slaked lime and 10 to 200 parts by weight of a solvent for dispersing the above mixture therein. The method can be employed for producing a flue gas treating agent exhibiting high desalinization and desulfurization effects at a lower cost and with more ease as compared to conventional methods.</p> |
