Device comprises an injection molded circular chamber (2, 3) that rotates with the drum (1) and has two spherical weights (5) free to move within a filling of silicon oil (6). The chamber is made as a single part with a U-shaped chamber part (2) and a ring type cover (3) that form a sealed chamber. A radial wall (2a) supports a hardened metal ring (4) that provides a path for the spheres. The invention also relates to a production method for the balancing device and fixing of the balancing device to the drum via heat forming of a mounting leg.
