A control device for a robot constituted of a plurality of joint actuators and operating according to an action plan, the device comprising an action plan unit for formulating an action plan for a robot, an operation control unit for implementing an action pattern corresponding to the action plan determined by the action plan unit by driving respective joint actuators, a detection unit for detecting how an operation is implemented by the operation control unit, and a recording unit for recording logs including the action plan by the action plan unit and the implemented operation status by the detection unit, whereby an user giving an instruction to the robot is authenticated, and a set of user's instruction details, actions taken by the robot according to the instruction and action execution times is recorded.
