A collapsible hammock assembly includes a foldable support frame and a soft bed (1) suspended thereby. The foldable support frame includes two upright supporting members and a level base member positioned therebetween. Each supporting member include a telescopic vertical rod (4), a stay vertical rod (6), a slide link block (15) which can slid along the stay vertical rod (6) and lock in its operating position, a stay link block (13) secured to the bottom end of the stay vertical rod (6), lateral rods (12) pivotally connected to the stay link block (13), bracing rods (14) for supporting lateral rod (12) pivotally connected with the slide link block (15) and the lateral rod (12). The level base member includes two movable bars (7) and a stay bar (9). Each movable bar (7) has an end pivotally connected to the stay link block (13), the other ends are respectively pivotally connected to connecting blocks (8) which secured to the two ends of the stay bar (9). The advantage of the invention is that the frame may be folded to a compact configuration.
