OPTICAL PICKUP APPARATUS WITH INTEGRATED HOLOGRAM MODULE AND COLLIMATING LENS

PURPOSE: An optical pickup apparatus with integrated hologram module and collimating lens is provided to suppress generation of wave surface aberration owing to biasing of an optical axis between a collimating lens and an objective by integrating an optical source in a hologram module together with a collimating lens. CONSTITUTION: A hologram module(411) transmits and receives lights, and a collimating lens(412) receives lights from the hologram module(411) and outputs received lights with parallel. A holder(410) is settled such that the hologram module(411) and the collimating lens(412) are placed at the same light axis. An objective(18) makes lights from the collimating lens, settled in the holder, form light spots vertical to a disk surface.
