<p>A steel sheet for a fuel tank having high corrosion resistance which comprises a steel sheet (1) containing 0.0007 to 0.0050 mass % of C, 0.5 mass % or less of Si, 2.0 mass % or less of Mn, 0.10 mass % or less of P, 0.015 mass % or less of S, 0.01 to 0.20 mass % of Al, 0.01 mass % or less of N, 0.005 to 0.08 mass % of Ti, and 0.001 to 0.01 mass % of B, zinc based plating layers (2a, 2b) and chromate layers (3a, 3b) laminated in this order on both surfaces of the steel sheet respectively, a first composite film (4) comprising powders of Al and Ni and an amine-modified epoxy resin formed on a chromate layer (3a), and a second composite film (5) comprising at least one organic resin having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of a hydroxyl group, an isocyanate group, a carboxyl group, a glycidyl group and an amino group, silica, a lubricant and electrically conductive particles formed on another chromate layer (3b). The steel sheet has much improved weldability in resistance welding in particular.</p> |
