<p>A communication device for elevators comprising at least two communication networks for elevators where communication is performed according to different protocols and a network protocol converter connected therebetween is characterized in that the network protocol converter includes a dual port memory for transferring normal data, a register memory for performing preferential data transfer by read/write at shorter intervals, and a network controller provided to each communication network and adapted for selecting one of the dual port memory and register memory so as to realize normal data transfer and preferential data transfer. Since a requisite minimum of data is preferentially transferred through a register memory, the obstruction to the processing by the network controller is minimized, and the protocol conversion and data transfer are performed, thereby minimizing the delay of data transfer.</p> |
