The coil (10) has a coil body (11), at least one end flange, at least one coil wire holder (16) on the flange and a tongue-shaped blade contact (23) for contacting the coil wire (18) in the holder, which has two crossing slots of different depths. The wire is placed on the bottom of the shallower slot and the blade contact is accommodated in the deeper slot. The shallower slot is narrower near its bottom than the wire diameter.
