<p>An apparatus having a radio frequency resonator, which has a coil (2), a capacitor means (1) and at least one switch means (4, 5) being associated with another capacitor means (21, 22), a resistor means (23, 24) and a high voltage supply means (6, 7). One end of the switch means is connected to a junction of the coil (2) and the capacitor means (1) where a radio frequency voltage is provided. Another end of the switch means (4, 5) is connected to ground with said another capacitor means (21, 22) and to the high voltage power supply means with the resistor means (23, 24).</p> |
