Phosphor consists of a phosphor which emits green light when excited by a vacuum UV beam. The phosphor has the composition: L1-xTbxAl3(BO3)4 (where L = Y or Gd; and x = 0.1 - 0.7). Preferred Features: 50 at.% of the element L is made from Gd. The phosphor has the crystal structure of a rhombohedric system.
