A workpiece tank 5 for a spark erosion machine has a liquid overflow which is adjustable to any level within the tank and locakable at this level. The overflow comprises a pipe 8 pivoted at 10 near the base of the tank and connected by cross member 19 to a parallel lever 21 on a stationary pivot 23. The pivot 10 is hollow and communicates with an outlet pipe 13, Fig. 2 (not shown). The cross member 19 is adjacent the mouth of the overflow pipe and carries a casing 20 which receives a float switch and a thermostat switch. Stepless adjustment to any level such as 29, 30 is provided by the linkage which has a handle 28 and can be locked in position by a knob 27, Fig. 3 (not shown) on the pivot 23. The tank has a drain channel 31.</p> |
