The invention relates to a holder (10) for a drinks container, e.g. a can, beaker or cup, which can, for instance, be built into the dashboard (12) of a motor vehicle. According to the invention, a storage compartment, for instance, is arranged inside the holder (10). Said compartment can, for example, take the form of a drawer which can be pulled outwards when the holder (10) is not in use. The advantage of the invention resides in the fact that the space required for the holder (10) can also be used to accommodate the storage compartment (28).
