The head-lamp is designed to provide sufficient horizontal diffusion of light in the arrangement between the light source and the reflector for dipped-beam as well as in the arrangement for high-beam, since in these first regions of the reflector the focal length varies, and the zones (44) in the vicinity of the optical axis which include radial sections containing the optical axis where the focal length changes with increasing distance from the optical axis, while in the outer zones (46) of the reflector the focal length changes to a lesser extent with increasing distance from the optical axis than in the inner zones (44), or at least remains approximately constant. |
