The handle (12) pivots into a recess in the top of the battery cover (40) so that when not in use it is stored flush with the top surface. The pivot (30) is inserted into a recess in the cover where it is held in position by a leaf spring (42A). When the handle is lifted into the carry position this spring engages in a notch (52) in the pivot to lock it in that position. The spring can be of metal or form part of the molded top
