The method involves transmitting several subscriber signals which are respectively encoded with a specific code, simultaneously from a transmitter to a receiver, and estimating data of the subscriber signal in the receiver under consideration of several codes used by the transmitter for encoding the further subscriber signals. At least one of the codes used for the encoding, is not used when estimating the data of the subscriber signal for the receiver. The codes used by the transmitter for the encoding are preferably determined by the receiver before the estimate is performed.
