The invention relates to a wall fixing for hanging diverse objects, whose point of fixing is adjustable vertically and laterally (x, y directions) through a limited range. Said wall fixing comprises a screw housing (1) which itself comprises a mounting lug (2) to each side. Within the screw housing there is an easily turnable adjustment screw (4) which acts vertically and parallel to the wall. Said screw has an accessible head which stands proud of the housing (1). With its head and foot the screw (4) cannot be withdrawn but can be turned and is held in place by the upper cover and the floor of the screw housing (1).
