PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrolysis inhibitor which has a high efficiency at low supply in the polymer containing a ester group, the innocuous quality, the high durability to heat, in the case of exposure to heat no evolution of the toxic decomposition products and the compartibility with the matrix of the polymer. SOLUTION: This polycarbodiimide-based block copolymer is represented by formula (1): X-[-(A)m-(B)n-]o-X.
