PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance image photographing device with an improved signal S/N ratio and improved measurement accuracy by solving problems by a conventional electric charge distribution method. SOLUTION: This distance image photographing device is provided with a light source allowing luminance modulation, a photoelectric conversion part receiving reflected light emitted from the light source and reflected on an object and converting it into an electric charge, a transferring gate transferring the electric charge converted by the photoelectric conversion part, an electric charge accumulating part accumulating the electric charge transferred by the transferring gate, and a transferring gate driving part impressing a transfer pulse synchronized with the luminance modulation to the transferring gate. This distance image photographing device is also provided with a transfer pulse generating part capable of applying a predetermined delay or a change in pulse width to the transfer pulse.
