PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the amount of air supplied to a gasification oven, by which the amount of the air supplied to the gasification oven can be grasped in high accuracy. SOLUTION: This method for measuring the amount of the air supplied to the gasification oven is characterized by measuring the concentration of an inert gas in the generated gases as an index gas on a fact that the inert gas in the supplied air is not burnt, and then knowing the amount of the supplied air on the measured concentration of the inert gas.
