<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner for vehicle capable of lessening a drop of the intake efficiency as much as practicable while direct collision of the lead-in air to the air cleaner element is suppressed. SOLUTION: The air cleaner for vehicle is composed of an air cleaner box 12, an air cleaner element 16 installed in the over-part inside the air cleaner box, an exhaust port 12a formed in the front of the over-part of the air cleaner box and having a communication to the discharge part of the air cleaner element, an intake port 12b installed in the front of the air cleaner box and beside the exhaust port, and an intake duct 15 inserted into the air cleaner box upon penetrating the intake port, wherein the downstream part of the intake duct is arranged linearly toward the back of the under-part inside the air cleaner box, and the duct opening in the downstream is located lower than the air cleaner element.</p> |
