PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the incorporation of software for IC test system and to accurately set a privilege to the incorporated software. SOLUTION: Software for IC test system 1 is classified into a plurality of groups/properties, and the software stored in a floppy disc 381 inserted into a floppy drive 38 is incorporated into a software directory inside a storage medium 36 for every group unit. A privilege set to each classified group of a software is previously registered as a privilege table, and according to the group of software selected from the plurality of software stored in the work directory inside the storage medium 36, the privilege is set automatically.
