PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricant composition improved in performances and characteristics. SOLUTION: This lubricating composition is produced by comprising a large amount of oil having lubricating viscosity and a mall amount of at least one kind of compound which has a multinuclear molybdenum core and one or more monoanionic ligands combined with the core metals and capable of turning a compound oil-soluble or oil-dispersible as an additive or by mixing a large amount of oil having lubricating viscosity with a mall amount of at least one kind of the compound. A ratio of the number of molybdenum in the core to the number of ligands is not smaller than 1/1, for example, is equal to 3/2 or larger. |
