PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hood capable of immediately absorbing sweat even in sweating and making an operator work pleasantly when worn in an agricultural operation, a forest operation, a mowing operation or in a sport, etc. SOLUTION: This hood 1 comprises a hood main body 2 and a hanging part 3 formed at the bottom of the main body. The hood main body 2 and the hanging part 3 are made of the same material and constituted of a face side fabric 4 and a lining fabric 5, respectively. The face side fabric 4 is a thin woven fabric made of cotton and the lining fabric 5 is a towel cloth made of cotton. The peripheral part of the face side of the hood main body 2 is provided with a shape retaining member which is a thick woven fabric made of cotton having a dense texture, is inserted between the face side fabric 4 and the lining fabric 5 and sewed with a sewing thread 7. A rubber string 8 is sewed to the inside of a part in contact with a part from a jaw part to a neck part of the hood 1 to form folds 9. The peripheral part of the face side of the hanging part 3 is reinforced by the face side fabric 4 and the lining fabric 5 sewed by the sewing thread 7.
