PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a velour material for electrophotographic device capable of improving the cleaning performance and the sealing performance of a pile yarn itself and achieving an excellent cleaning function and an excellent sealing function. SOLUTION: The velour material for electrophotographic device has a sliding layer 13 consisting of velour provided with foundation 15 consisting of woven fabric and plural pile yarns 16 woven to be twined around the weft 15b of the foundation 15 so as to be U-shaped by pile weaving. The pile yarn 16 is formed by twisting and working plural fibers 17 and gigged on the foundation 15. Each fiber 17 is formed to be a triangle pole, that is, formed so that its cross section may be triangular and has plural projected lines 18 extended in a longitudinal direction as a projecting part on its surface, and the projected lines 18 scrape granules from the surface of a photoreceptor drum or the like. |
