PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for slab bar arrangement capable of holding both of an upper bar and a lower bar by one spacer, having excellent stability during bar arrangement work and after bar arrangement is completed and capable of preventing its deformation and reducing its weight. SOLUTION: This spacer 10 for slab bar arrangement is constituted by crossing two reinforcing bar support members 11, 12 formed by bending an iron wire material into a chevron shape at 90 degrees in the vicinity of its vertex and fixing them mutually by welding them, providing an upper bar holding part 12a bent downward in a projecting manner in the vicinity of a vertex of the reinforcing bar support member 12 on one side, and providing a lower bar holding part 11a bent downward in a projecting manner in the vicinity of a foot of the reinforcing bar support member 11 on the other side to form horizontal ground contact parts 11b, 12b at lower ends of the reinforcing bar support members 11, 12.
