PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reducing the frictional resistance of a hull, and a frictional resistance reduced ship effectively economizing energy consumption during navigation by reducing frictional resistance with little energy consumption. SOLUTION: In this method of reducing the frictional resistance of the hull 10 by discharging bubbles to the submerged surface of the hull 10, a negative pressure part 41 made low in pressure relative to a gas space with the navigation of the hull 10 is formed to lead gas from the gas space to the negative pressure part 41 while forming such water flow 40a that the bubbles 42 move into the water from a boundary surface 43 between gas and water.
