PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control valve wherein a replacement work of components accommodated in a valve chamber is easy to carry out after the complete assembly of the control valve and a holding member which prevent coming-out of the components is prevented dependably from falling during transportation without causing a rise in cost. SOLUTION: A spool 8 and a return spring 9 are accommodated in the valve chamber 7 opening towards a valve body 1 and are prevented from being coming out by an anti-pullout plate 10 which is inserted on the outside surface of the valve body 1. In addition, the anti-pullout plate 10 is prevented from coming out from the valve body 1 by an oil strainer 15. With the oil strainer 15 being off-mounted during a characteristic performance test or an adjustment work of the control valve, the replacement work for the return spring 9 and so on can easily be performed by fitting or unfitting the anti-pullout plate 10. Further, the falling-off of the anti-pullout plate 10 can be prevented during the transportation of the control valve without using any additional anti-pullout member.
