PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover, a handle and a step not only enabling equipments in a machine-cab of an upper swing body to be easily checked and maintained from the ground, but also being unbreakable in case of swinging a hydraulic shovel. SOLUTION: A side cover (18) of a machine-cab (5) is attached to an upper part of a swing frame (3) so as to open and shut flexibly in conformity with a curved surface at the edge of a periphery of the swing frame (3), from the standpoint of a flat surface. A handle (25) and/or a step are attached to a swing frame (3) so as not to come out from a swing radius (R2) of the swing frame (3), and parts corresponding to a handle (25) and/or a step in the side cover (18) are cut out in order for the side cover (18) to be freely opened and shut.
