PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method able to realize an abnormal noise reduction control for a hydraulic stepless transmission. SOLUTION: This controlling method is provided with a fixed displacement hydraulic pump, and a variable displacement hydraulic motor on a driving shaft, connected with a hydraulic close channel, and prevents the oil-pressure on a motor side from rizting by varying a gradient angle of a variable swash plate inside the motor to a TOP side. When an engine drive condition meets the specified criteria, the device also tilts the plate to the TOP side. In this way, the looseness between a rotary housing of the pump side and a plunger of the pump side is eliminated, and the abnormal noise is reduced or eliminated. The criteria are as follows. 1. The voltage signal of a throttle sensor 23 showing the throttle opening is lower than the threshold. 2. The speed of a vehicle is higher than the threshold. 3. The accelerated speed of a vehicle is higher than the threshold. 4. The revolution of an engine is lower than the threshold. 5. The conditions meeting 1 to 4 continue over the specified time. |
