PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vary a steering feeling by securing robust stability. SOLUTION: Torque applied to a steering shaft is detected to obtain a primary torque command value securing robust stability by H∞control. The primary torque command value is multiplied by a gain varying with the car speed. The multiplied and corrected torque command value is taken as a torque command value to a motor. Thus, the robust stability is improved, and a steering feeling can be obtained corresponding to the car speed.
