PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a cylindrical conductive base body and a flange without using a high hardness adhesive which gives adverse influence on the printing characteristics of an electrophotographic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer formed on the outer circumference surface of a cylindrical conductive substrate having at least one open end, a flange is fixed to at least one open end of the substrate by using a silicone adhesive having <=50 Hs Shore hardness after completely hardened. Thus, the obtained electrophotographic photoreceptor has high fixing strength between them.
