PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt aligning tool for a belt conveyor capable of coping with plural kinds of conveyors of different belt widths. SOLUTION: This belt aligning tool 1 comprises first and second rollers 7, 8 inclined at an approximately equal inclination angle to a horizontal face, on an aligning tool main body part 4, and the first and second rollers 7, 8 are kept into contact with both side rear faces in the width direction of the belt 3 of the belt conveyor to guide the belt 3 to prevent its meandering and skewing. Further a mounting means to be demountably mounted on the belt conveyor, and an interval adjusting function for adjusting an interval between the first roller 7 and the second roller 8 are mounted.
