PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a highly flexible tank of a non-supporting properties in a space having an encircling wall supporting a ceiling and the peripheral walls of the tank and retaining the shape of the tank. SOLUTION: The flexible tank 1 is folded and carried into the setting space 3 and spread on a floor face of the space 3. An end of a wire 7 formed of a number of unit wires is hung on a wire guide tool 5 and suspended from a ceiling or a vicinity of the ceiling is connected with the upper section of the tank 1, and the other end of the wire 7 running along the ceiling and collected on one site is pulled by a winch or the like to stand up the tank 1.
