PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability in a bead section. SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire using a carcass as its framework comprising a carcass body, which is a ply made from rubber coated codes radially extending between a pair of bead cores, and a folded section comprising the ply rewound around each bead core from the inside to outside of the tire and extending outward in a radial direction of the tire and folded, at least the terminal section of the rewound section of the carcass section is coated with rubber, and the coating rubber consists of rubber composition comprising inorganic additive of 1 to 30 pts.wt. to rubber of 100 pts.wt.
