PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car device for elevator capable of restricting the generation of noise when elevating while reducing the turbulence of the air in the outer surface of the car when elevating the car. SOLUTION: A car 5 is formed of a cage 1, and air fairing covers 4 installed in an upper part and a lower part of the cage 1. A cover material having a raising surface made of the soft-hair material in the tight condition is installed in the outer surface of the car 5 so as to form an air fairing layer 6. With this structure, an air flow to be generated by the elevating car 5 flows while pushing the soft-hair material of the air fairing layer 6 at a position close to an end of the air fairing cover 4, and flows along the air fairing cover 4 so as to increase the flow speed and lower the pressure. With the operation of this air flow, the soft-hair material of the air fairing layer 6 is trembled along the flow of the peeling air and attitude of the soft-hair material is changed, and the generation of spiral in the air flow is thereby restricted so as to reduce the generation of noise.
